Sara Shilo

Sara Shilo was born in Jerusalem. She is the author of the critically acclaimed novel THE FALAFEL KING IS DEAD (SHUM GAMADIM LO YAVO’U) as well as several children’s books. She received the Sapir Prize (2007), Israel’s equivalent of the Man Booker Prize, for THE FALAFEL KING IS DEAD.  Sara Shilo lives in a small town in northern Israel with her family.
