Nir Hasson has covered Jerusalem affairs and archeology for Haaretz since 2008. His journalistic career includes two years as deputy news editor at Haaretz and other field assignments. He has reported on some of the most significant events in Israel during the last 15 years, including the Second Lebanon War (2006), the disengagement from the Gaza Strip (2005) and the Israel-Gaza war in 2014. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife and three children.
