Ala Hlehel lives in Acre and works in the Arab Cultural Projects of the ICS. He is editor of www.qadita.net, and arabic website for culture and politics. Hlehel is the author of five novels (published in Cairo, Beirut, Ramallah and Haifa) and several short stories (translated into German and French). He has also written and directed five films and six plays.
