Ido Angel, the author of CHILDREN’S STORY and MICHAEL’S STORY, studied Cinema at Beit Berl College, where he went on to teach narratology. Angel wrote and directed VIPO, an animated series for children that has been an international hit, as well as DEATH OF CAIN, a short film about the first murder, seen from a Freudian perspective. He is currently the owner of Misanthrope, a unique urban work space and coffee shop in Tel Aviv that hosts literary and film events. His short stories have been featured in the literary journal Orot. Angel was born in 1974 and lives in Jaffa.
